The Toilers are bringing you another amazing rock & blues night at The George! Expect all the fun and frolicks of previous evenings with some new musical acts in store. Tue 28th February - The Night Shift
Our Resident Orchestra The Night Shift is back for 2017! Classical music concerts can be stuffy and long, with deathly silence and pre-poured glasses of wine that cost the earth. But it doesn’t have to be like that, and it hasn’t always been. The Night Shift is all about making classical music easy to enjoy. Hear Beethoven or Mozart in a local venue, with a great bar, without getting dirty looks if you dare you to open your mouth. So get a drink, take photos, relax, as we kick off a another series of regular classical gigs at the George.

This Canadian rock troubadour has graced our stage once before and we can't wait to have him back! Get ready for an explosive 2.5 hour acoustic rock performance from Will Black, performing songs from his new album ‘Cry Like Hell’, plus all the rock classics you love!

International quartet Frogbelly and Symphony return to the George! Expect progressive rock echoes through folk landscapes, with urban poetry, pop melodies, repetitive chants and experimental segues! Rad Orchestra and The Nyco Project will be their brilliant support bands this time and DJ Jack Opus will make sure to keep everyone on the dance floor until the early hours!

Sat 4th March - Tigmus presents: Brudini + more TBA
Multi-instrumentalist Brudini returns to the George for another incredible live music night. Support TBA.
Brudini is a London-based singer / songwriter / composer, who's music is like an early 20th century novel in all its colours, mystery and energy, being opened and unfolded and sung into music, a vagabond journey filled with light and darkness, accompanied by funky beats and heavy percussion, evoking the references of older traditions in poetry and music. The musical expression ranges from stripped songwriter to larger, more groovy, orchestrated landscapes.

Dance Like I’ve Got Diamonds are happy to announce their next event: A celebration of women in music, to be held on International Women’s Day! Feminist indie punk trio The Tuts will be headlining the night, with support from grunge-punk noise duo Dolls and activist riot grrrl band Peach Club.
