From Kodaline to Anna Calvi, Sir Roger Penrose to John Cooper Clarke, Plan B to the The Magic Numbers, The George Tavern has an extremely exciting and diverse array of world class acts performing in unique, intimate surroundings.

We are also very supportive of new promoters and emerging acts with regular showcases of the best
new artists in London and the UK.

Our favourite Valentine's Day hosts Sandy and Danny are back for another special comedy night! What better way to welcome the season, than gathering with friends and neighbours at the Spring Equinox Blind Date with a Twist. Bringing back a classic and putting a twist on it. Blind Date with a Twist is a live game show pairing people and connecting them with a friend or lover! Entry: £3

Frontman of Texan post-hardcore maximalists …And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead, is coming to the George to play an intimate stripped down set of songs from his debut album 'Original Machines' as well as some classics from …Trail of Dead! Support from Aqua TV and Junodef.

Our favourite pop-punk duo Bentcousin is back for another free entry show at the George Wednesday 29th March! This time with support from rapper/guitaris Chris Cape and Jim O'Donoghue Martin's ambient electronica and guitar driven alt-pop project Video Blue. This will be a very special night as we'll be celebrating the release of Chris Cape's new music video as well as Video Blue's debut album!

Sun 2nd April - The Conteiners Live Again!
The Containers hook-laden, exuberant, high-octane New Wave pop blasted into life in 1978, but was prematurely extinguished when the band split up early 1980. This will be their first live gig for the band ever since! A new album is also on its way and will be released in May.
Support from The Windsors - ‘forward-looking electric guitar music with a rock base, stylistically somewhere between the precision control of surf groups such as the Ventures, and the almost classical compositions of Captain Beefheart.’ - Eugene Chadborne.
